 The
history is as rich as the flavor; the Cabernet was one
of the first wines I made under my on wine label in
1997…that ’97 received 4 out of 5 stars and was picked
by the New York Times as one of their Top 20 wines of
the famed 97 vintage. This is one of the most robust
wines in our family of and a perfect example of my
winemaking style – as rich as possible without
sacrificing the balance, the elegance and the true
varietal character - in a blind tasting with no hint
of the grape you would know at first sniff or sip what
you were drinking, and with the last sip savor that it
was something very special…it would have changed and
evolved thru the entire meal, enhancing every bite and
coating your mouth with flavor on its way down your
throat.Full bodied and a mouth full of richness, our Cabernet
reflects both bright red and deep black fruits, and a
range of spices from fennel to coffee.
