This
wine spent 250 days on the vine as grapes, two full years in
the winery between fermentation and aging in barrel and
another full year after bottling to mature to a point that
it is ready for your table. It is a bold full bodied wine
that always pays rewards from time in your cellar, as the
tannins soften and the aromas grow and develop that “bottle
bouquet”.
You may have heard the praise about the 2007 Cabernet
harvest being the “Vintage of the Century” – a warm,
consistent season that gave us a wonderful balance of mouth
coating, ripe, full bodied richness with an elegance that
also delivers bright flavors of both red and black fruits
wrapped in spice notes of coffee and cocoa, pleasures that
are forward and alive.
